3 periods of screening
1. Preconception
            Can be useful to identify people a risk for specific disorders or at risk for passing a disorder onto their children.Screening includes obtaining family histories and carrier screening and is particularly valuable in countries where consanguineous marriage is common.
  
2. Peri-conception of Screening
            Maternal characteristics may increase risk, and screening result should be used to offer appropiate care, according to risk.

Hypersensitivity (also called hypersensitivity reaction or intolerance) is a set of undesirable reactions produced by the normal immune system, including allergies and autoimmunity. These reactions may be damaging, uncomfortable, or occasionally fatal. Hypersensitivity reactions require a pre-sensitized (immune) state of the host .
